Hunter Safety Classes

August 7, 8, 9
September 4, 5, 6
September 18, 19, 20
October 9, 10, 11
October 23, 24, 25
All classes are Thursday and Friday evening (6 p.m. to 9 p.m.)
and on Saturday morning (9 a.m. to approximately 1 p.m.)
You Must Attend All Three Classes
The course will include safety measures for modern firearm, muzzleloader and archery hunting as well as hunting regulations, wildlife identification, hunter ethics, first-aid and survival techniques. Students completing the courses will earn safety certification required for anyone born on or after Jan. 1, 1975, to hunt in Kentucky
There is no minimum age to participate. Parents of young students are encouraged to also take the class.

**Kentucky Law Requires That Any Person Born After January 1st, 1975
(Except Those Under Ten Years of Age) Must Have A Hunter's Safety
Certificate (Orange Card) In Their Possession While Hunting.
